The Seal Island Trilogy has a brand new look!

Book Description:
American detective, Sam Holt, has a knack for finding people who
shouldn’t be found. When his last case almost killed an innocent woman, he swore
off detective work forever. But when that same woman asks him for one last
investigation–to find her husband’s long lost mother–Sam cannot refuse. Sam hopes this case will prove to everyone on Seal Island, especially clairvoyant artist Glenna McClure,
that he has changed. But what Sam doesn’t realize is that the closer he gets to
the truth, the more danger Glenna is in.
Glenna will do anything to stop Sam from finding this woman, even
if it means teaming up with a powerful sorceress she knows she cannot trust. But when the petals of a mysterious
night-blooming rose begin to turn black, Glenna realizes an even darker
force is at work. To protect the island and the people she loves, Glenna will have to face a
terrible curse that has haunted her all her life before the final petal fades to
ash.
To celebrate The Selkie Sorceress being almost here, Sophie is offering a HUGE giveaway this weekend! In addition to reducing the prices of The Selkie Spell (FREE) and The Selkie Enchantress (99 cents) from March 15-19th, she is giving away a $50 Amazon gift card to one lucky winner!

About the book:  All eighteen-year-old Mimi Mockel wants is to read books 24/7. With nothing else to do on New Year’s Eve, she pays a visit to the New York Library only to find they are closed for the evening. Spying an open window, she sneaks  in and finds a mysterious book that appears to beckon to her.

She soon discovers the book is a rogue time-traveler’s diary and learns she has been chosen as the Prodigy. Suddenly, life is more complicated than Mom grounding her from her favorite library. Now she and her thirteen-year-old brother Albert are thrust into a world where heroes aren’t read about, they’re made. And it’s up to her to save the future of 4218 from the terrible King Noctria who is winning a worldwide civil war.

When she learns their  time-traveling host, Sebastian “Bas” Barkley, is a notorious time thief, Mimi urges him to return everything he has stolen from history, beginning with the trumpet of the legendary Duke Ellington. But Bas will only agree if she will learn alchemy as the Prodigy.

Soon she discovers a new world completely different from her own. Along the way, Mimi befriends others who are fighting for the cause. But when the cruel Ambassador of Time, Captain Deatherage, murders one of her friends, suddenly becoming the Prodigy just got personal.

Claire attended both Southern Illinois University and College of DuPage where she graduated in 2008. During the day she is a sales assistant for a coffee roasting manufacturing company and in her spare moments she transforms into a proud writer. Claire lives with her darling, spoiled kitty Ms. Pip in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
