J.A.Mes Press is a publishing company dedicated to finding and promoting new and up-and-coming authors with a focus on anthologies. J.A.Mes Press is a non-profit endeavor conceived to enhance writers’ careers and outreach through professionally published works. All royalties benefit the charities individually chosen for each anthology. Writers who contribute to our publications experience the benefits of getting their work out to readers. In 2013, we produced the anthology Tales by the Tree, which is available on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

We are proud to collaborate with the professional design team of Blue Harvest Creative to produce books that writers can proudly include on resumes without incurring any out-of-pocket expense of their own. Blue Harvest Creative is known for both exceptional print and eBook design, and donates their design expertise as a way to give back to not only the sponsored charity, but also to writers as well.

Looking for writing inspiration? If you are a lover of autumn and of all things creepy, this anthology is for you. Halloween is about things that go bump in the night. The creaking of a door. Ghostly and supernatural beings. The creepy and the dark. We want stories that evoke the senses, that linger with you long after they are read, that make you look over your shoulder and wonder…did I just hear or see something? Looking under your bed is optional—we can’t be responsible for those things that live underneath.
